As I was driving to work today, I heard an interview with a Matthew R. Simmons, president of Simmons and Company International, with regards to his rather unique opinion about oil reserves in Saudi Arabia.
I urge everyone to take a look at this article.
The synopsis is this: we have been hearing for years that oil is a non-renewable resource, but the fact is we don't actually know how much is left, since there is no fuel gauge on the earth. Simmons is suggesting that we are closer to empty than everyone thinks.
